To fully heal the mind, one needs to move through the body...
Yoga Therapy
A common denominator of all types of trauma – big or small – is an alienation and disconnection from the body and a reduced capacity to be present in the here and now.

Paying attention to the fluctuations of the breath, noticing the sensations ebbing and flowing in the physical body, tracking the changing feelings in the emotional body through meditation and prayer, and recognizing the space of the mind as well as the thoughts in the mental body are all part of yoga.

The coming together of the body, mind and spirit provides health benefits beyond the physical. The word health is derived from an Old English word meaning “whole.” Yoga re-establishes our natural wholeness – balancing all aspects of our being.

Yoga Therapy is offered in person, and via Telehealth.
